Missions Conference

A yearly missions conference is sponsored by the BPC Missions Committee. The conference is intended to cultivate within the BPC members a greater awareness of missionary needs, a desire to pray for, correspond with, and financially support the work of missionaries, and to encourage participation in mission work.

BPC also partners with several other congregations for an annual missions trip to the Navajo Nation in northwest New Mexico. The trip focuses on providing a Vacation Bible School for Navajo youth, planning and executing construction and work projects, visiting and encouraging fellow Christians within the community, and meeting in any way possible the needs of the Navajo community at large.

Other Missions Work

Individual members of BPC independently participate as able in other cross-cultural missions trips to places such as Haiti, Honduras, and Ukraine. Although these are not officially sponsored by the church, BPC encourages its members in these endeavors, prays for these labors, and provides opportunities for participants to report and provide updates on their work in these areas.
